Mission & Vision Statement
My Pack of Wolves Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to rescuing and protecting wolves and wolf-dogs who have been neglected, abandoned, or misunderstood. Founded in 2011 by Executive Director Mark Stredney, the organization was created in response to the urgent need for a dedicated wolf rescue facility in the state of Ohio.

At the heart of our mission is the belief that every wolf deserves a chance—not only to survive, but to thrive. We provide a safe haven where wolves and wolf-dogs can heal, find companionship, and live in harmony—either as part of a pack or alongside compassionate humans. As we care for them, they in turn inspire purpose, connection, and healing within the people who help them.
Education, compassion, and awareness have always guided our work. Our dedicated team of well-trained volunteers is the backbone of our efforts, helping reduce the number of mistreated and homeless wolves through hands-on rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy. Equally vital is our commitment to community enrichment. My Pack of Wolves Sanctuary is a place where children and adults alike can discover fulfillment and a deeper sense of purpose through meaningful connections with these incredible animals.
Our educational programs aim to replace fear and misinformation with knowledge and respect. Through public outreach, immersive learning, and direct engagement with the animals, we teach people how to properly care for wolves and wolf-dogs, while promoting a broader understanding of their role in the natural world.
Looking ahead, My Pack of Wolves Sanctuary envisions a future where wolves are not only protected, but truly valued. Through sanctuary, education, and community, we are building a world where humans and wolves can coexist in harmony—bound by empathy, guided by understanding, and united in respect.
